Due to further comments from audience feedback, I decided to change the layout and overall look of my double page spread. So far, I have changed the heading to fit more to the topic. I downloaded a font and then changed each letter of the words to a different colour based on a picture of the newest iPhone to anchor the meaning of brand new digital technology. I did not change the colour of the word over as it makes the main part of the title stand out.

I used the dropper tool to select the colours from the phone background alternatively and applied them to each letter of the title.
I also changed the masthead from the name of the documentary to 'Technology takes over' to make it more catchy and aesthetically pleasing.
This is what I have completed so far on my double page spread:

I am following inspiration from this magazine article:

I realised that I needed to create a logo for my TV magazine to put at the top or bottom of the page, so I downloaded a font to suit a TV magazine and in photoshop changed the colours of the fun and made the letters have a drop shadow. I then put 'selection' over 'TV' so that the words were grouped together, and so that readers could recognise the iconic TV magazine logo. Most TV magazines have similar logos. I researched to find similarities and differences in the logos.

They are all red with ether white or black among the red colour, and quite simple bold fonts. I made sure that I followed the conventions of these logos, and created mine with them in mind.
